Explore displays and discover sea animal tanks at the Bella Terra Earth Day Celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22. You’ll meet and greet pirates. Mermaids, too. Then, listen to songs from “The Little Mermaid” by the Orange County Children’s Theatre.
At Pinot’s Palette, choose a canvas and create your own Earth Day painting. Each canvas is $5.

Street Thai Café
The spot that was once Whipp’d OC is now Street Thai Café, at 15887 Gothard St. near Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach. I stopped in to see what it was all about ,and was greeted warmly.
The first thing I noticed was a large, colorful mural of a street scene in Thailand. And every table was full in this small restaurant.
I didn’t have time to eat, but checked out the menu. Definitely coming back for the Pad Thai, Sticky Mango Rice, Drunken Noodles, and Golden Bananas (fried banana balls coated in coconut flakes).

Sharetea
I visited Sharetea in Fountain Valley one late afternoon last week for a milk tea. The line was long, but went quickly. So many teas … fruit, brewed, and blended. I chose the Ginger Milk Tea. Yummy, and so flavorful … under $4. Next time I will try the Watermelon Tea with Lemon.
Sharetea is in 18 countries with more than 450 locations. Happy to have them close to home!
