The incredibly popular Huntington Beach tapas and wine bar Black Trumpet Bistro is relocating from its Beach Boulevard location to a spot on Yorktown Avenue.
Its decor will include wine barrels, wine staves in the bar design, and you may see a jazzy musical note or two.
On the menu, look for some additions such as escargot and beef Wellington. And as always, you can enjoy delicious Mediterranean-inspired tapas with a fine glass of wine.
Seating will more than double at the new location — from 40 to 85 — and there will be an outdoor seating area with a fire pit.
Black Trumpet Bistro is moving to 7041 Yorktown Ave. Information: theblacktrumpetbistro.com or 714-842-1122.

Beach City Dog Camp
It’s time for Fifi and Fido to have some fun. Half-day, full-day, overnight … the atmosphere at Beach City Dog Camp is sure to bring some happy woofs to your canines.
The camp has benches, sunlight, shade from palm trees, and much more. If your doggie is tired, there are beds scattered throughout the park-like setting.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.
Beach City Dog Camp is in Fountain Valley at 17970 Magnolia St. near Talbert Avenue. Information: beachcitydogcamps.com or 714-962-3822.
The Black Bean
The Black Bean restaurant is opening in Fountain Valley in September, at 9430 Warner Ave. near Bushard Street.
I am particularly intrigued with one of the items on the menu: The Full Porque Burger features seasoned jackfruit, barbecue sauce, and coleslaw on a sweet bun. Gotta try that.
