Thanks to my daughter, as I write this I just finished the most delicious grilled cheese sandwich.
She and a friend had lunch at the newly opened Grater Grilled Cheese in Huntington Beach, and she surprised me with a yummy sandwich.
My sandwich was filled with gooey cheese, avocado, and tomato. Excellent combo. My daughter had a grilled cheese with bacon, and told me she will be back to try a burger, fries and their mac & cheese.

Beijing Wok & Grill
The restaurant is under new ownership … and the food is as delicious as ever.
I treated my friend Susan to a birthday meal at Beijing Wok & Grill in Fountain Valley. We decided to order some of our favorite things –.and to forget about the calories.
I got the Sweet & Sour soup. Flavorful, and just enough spice. I also ordered the Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, a two- or three-bite bit of heaven.
The star of this show, though, was the Fried Shrimp with Garlic Spicy Sauce. It was aromatic, full of robust flavor … and we were very, very happy.
I highly suggest you take some time and visit Beijing Wok & Grill. It’s at 17431 Brookhurst St. near Slater Avenue. Hours: 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday. Information: 714-968-5888.
