Dress the kids up Friday, Oct. 12 and head to the Huntington Harbour Mall for a fun event from 4 to 7 p.m. Just treats … no tricks.
There will be face-painting, a bounce house, and lots of candy from mall merchants. A raffle, too. Proceeds will go to the Waggin’ Trails animal rescue group.

Pumpkin Patch Festival
There’s another opportunity for fall fun on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the eighth annual Pumpkin Patch Festival at Coldwell Banker-Campbell Realtors.
Each child will get a free pumpkin and there will be carnival games, a photo booth, face-painting and other activities. Proceeds will benefit the Huntington Beach Police and Community Foundation.

Fall magic
Pumpkin juggling, a visit from Frankenstein, and lots of magic from “Amazing Dave” await the young — and young at heart — Sunday, Oct. 28 at Bella Terra.
The show is from 1 to 3 p.m near the Pavilion. After the show, kids will head to the craft room where they’ll decorate a free pumpkin. It’s for the first 75 children only.

Magnolia Car Wash
This is a very cool thing. Did you know that you can get a free car wash at Magnolia Car Wash on your birthday? All you have to do is bring your identification.
When it rains, there’s a 48-hour raincheck. Just bring in your receipt and you can get you car washed again, exterior only. The raincheck must be redeemed the next day the car wash is open.

Join the fun at the Fountain Valley Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off, Saturday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be food trucks, a dunk tank, a pie-baking contest, games, and so much more — including, of course, the chili contest.
