Wally’s story: Wally came Lovebugs Rescue through the OC Shelter Partners when his former owner tried to discard him at the shelter. Wally was in terrible shape, and we can only imagine the life of neglect he had lived. Thankfully, networking brought Wally to a foster home with Lovebugs Rescue instead of the shelter. Wally is a low-key boy who enjoys his daily walks and afternoon naps. He gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly content being on his own. He is potty-trained and crate-trained and walks nicely on leash. Wally is insecure dog and will bond with his new owner for security. We recommend a home with fewer moving parts as Wally enjoys a quiet, consistent environment; this will help him build confidence. Wally has come a long way in his foster home and we can see that he has a lot of love to give. He is enrolled in a basic obedience course with his foster mom. Lovebugs Rescue will transfer any training hours to his new owners so they can begin the bonding process with him.
