Here are major construction project closures happening on Orange County’s freeways and toll roads between March 28 and April 3, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority, Caltrans and the Transportation Corridor Agencies. The public is asked by officials to travel only for essential jobs and errands to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.
5 Freeway
Southbound connector to southbound State Route 133:
- 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28; one lane will remain closed until 1 p.m.
- 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday, March 29; one lane will remain closed until 1 p.m.
405 Freeway
Southbound off-ramp to Magnolia Street and southbound on-ramp from Magnolia Street:
- 10 p.m. Friday, March 27, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 30
Northbound between Edwards and Springdale streets:
- 10 p.m. Monday, March 30, to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31
Southbound between Springdale and Edwards streets:
- 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 1
Northbound between Slater and Warner avenues:
- Weeknight beginning Wednesday, April 1, for approximately one week
Southbound on-ramp from Edinger Avenue:
- Scheduled to close at the end of March for approximately one month
Northbound off-ramp to Westminster Boulevard:
- Scheduled to close in early April for one year
