Valentine’s Day might be over, but you can continue to celebrate love at Wahoo’s Fish Taco. Through Saturday, Feb. 17, buy one entree and get the second one free when you dine in after 5 p.m. Take that special someone and enjoy.

There are two Huntington Beach Wahoo’s Fish Taco locations: 7891 Warner Ave. near Beach Boulevard, and 120 Main St. near Pacific Coast Highway. Information: wahoos.com

Sunset Pizza & Pasta

Last week, seven friends and I met for an early dinner at our pal Laura’s house. On the menu? Pasta from Sunset Pizza & Pasta. This was, without a doubt, one of the best pasta experiences ever.

We had the Stuffed Shells with ooey gooey mozzarella cheese and tender pasta shells. There was also their very flavorful Chicken Lasagna dish. Ricotta, mozzarella, spinach, layers of noodles, and topped with an Alfredo sauce. Add to that, cheesy garlic bread. I was beyond stuffed, and oh so happy.

The restaurant is small, but next time I’ll grab a table and order more pasta, and pizza, too.

Sunset Pizza & Pasta is in Sunset Beach at 16711 Pacific Coast Highway near Anderson Street. Hours: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Information: 562-592-1133.

S.O.T.

Sushi on Top has changed it’s name to S.O.T. The food here is really, really good … and reasonable. Start out with a small bite (I love their tasty edamame for $4). Then, get a bigger bite of Chicken Pho for $10 or maybe Beef or Shrimp Fried Rice for $14.

Sides? Garlic Noodles, salad, Garlic Rice and more. This little spot delivers big on flavor. S.O.T is at 17200 Pacific Coast Highway near Warner Avenue. Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. Information: 657-334-7541.

Main Squeeze

Cold Honey Jasmine Tea. Yum. I stopped by Main Squeeze in Fountain Valley and was delightfully surprised at everything from the lemon-studded wallpaper to the taste of that Honey Jasmine Tea. So creamy and refreshing; $4.15.

Teas, flavored lemonades, and ice cream are on the menu. Having a hard time choosing which flavor for your lemonade? Get a split cup and try two! Service is super friendly. Ask for one of their punch cards. Buy 10 drinks and the 11th is free.

Enjoy inside, or grab a lemon yellow chair outside and relax. Main Squeeze is at 9430 Warner Ave. near Bushard Street. Hours: Noon-10 p.m. daily. Information: 714-465-2057.

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches

I frequently stop by Ike’s Love & Sandwiches for their special Tony Soprano sandwich. It’s one of my husband’s favorites. It’s  No. 118 on the ample menu and includes turkey, ham, salami, Italian dressing and provolone cheese on Dutch crunch bread.

Here’s something that makes me smile every time I look at the menu: There are two selections exclusive to the Fountain Valley location. The No. 701 GM Fountain Valley Special has halal chicken, Ike’s spicy teriyaki, and Havarti. It’s $8.98. There is also the No. 539 Talbert. It includes vegan chicken, Ike’s spicy teriyaki, and Havarti for $9.99.

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is in Fountain Valley at 18529 Brookhurst St. near Ellis Avenue. Hours: 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Info: ilikeikesplace.com or 714-375-0880.
