The Orange County boys basketball top 25.

BOYS BASKETBALL TOP 25

(Records through Nov. 29.)

1. Mater Dei 2-0: Junior forward Zach Davidson is off to a strong start for the Monarchs, including 22 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Dos Pueblos.

2. Fairmont Prep 1-1: The Huskies are a long and quick team, including 6-9 junior Collins Acheampong who scored 28 points, many on dunks, in an 84-46 win over El Toro in the Diablo Inferno tournament.

3. Crean Lutheran 1-0: A CIF Southern Section champion last year, the Saints opened with a 69-63 win over Roosevelt.

4. Capistrano Valley Christian 1-0: Eagles, who beat La Mirada 70-66 last week, are in the Diablo Inferno tournament at Mission Viejo this week.

5. Santa Margarita 6-0: Champions of the Orangewood tournament, the Eagles average margin of victory is 33 points.

6. JSerra 3-0: Lions have scored 230 points over their three victories.

7. Fountain Valley 0-0: The quick, talented Barons get their season started in the Diablo Inferno tournament this week.

8. Orange Lutheran 4-1: Seth Brown was among the impressive Lancers as they finished third in the Rumble At Rosecrans tournament.

9. Canyon 6-1: Freshman Brandon Benjamin (6-3, 200) is averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Comanches who finished fifth in the Rumble At Rosecrans tournament.

10. Servite 1-0: Friars opened with a one-sided win over Costa Mesa, play in the Saxon Tournament at Loara this week.
