Eleanor’s story: Eleanor is exactly what rescue is all about. This girl was adopted from the county shelter and returned 5 years later to the same shelter. If that is not enough for one poor pooch to go through, she was adopted yet again and returned just 24 hours later. We have made a vow to Eleanor that those days are gone, and we will make sure the forever family we choose for her, will treat her as the treasure she truly is. Eleanor is a fairly easy-going girl who loves snuggles and belly rubs. She will offer her belly and roll around, making snorts of happiness and silly faces. Eleanor likes getting out for her daily cruise around the neighborhood and is quickly getting the hang of her new potty routine. She has been polite with her foster brothers and sisters and will do well in a home with or without another polite pooch. Eleanor’s dental needs were badly neglected, and we are in the process of making sure she has a healthy mouth before going to her new home.
