The Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Katniss Everdeen … which ever is your hero of choice, learn to also be an archer at Mile Square Park.
OC Parks staff are holding a beginning archery course on Jan. 13 and 27 at the Fountain Valley park’s archery range.
The instructions will include how to stay safe and a history of the sport of archery. Equipment will be provided.
The beginner’s class is open to first-timers ages 12 and older – those younger than 18 will need to have a parent with them. Online registration is required at ocparks.com/parks/mile. Classes are also planned again in March, check the website.
