A spokesperson for the newcomer, which started in San Diego and has been expanding in Southern California with locations in Long Beach and Redlands, has confirmed that it is slated to open in June at 18976 Brookhurst St. The company, which is less than 4 years old, offers burgers, shakes, “chicken” tenders, fries, salads, juices and raw items at its restaurants. It targets customers looking for an alternative to fast food and even has similar service such as a drive-through option at its Long Beach location.
“By presenting a fresh, GMO-free, plant-based menu in the familiar fast-food format, we’re able to provide an easy-to-access alternative for those looking for healthier options,” said company president and Co-CEO Mitch Wallis when the Long Beach location opening in June 2019. “The majority of our customers are omnivores who are exploring new food choices,” he said.
